Hi.

Using GNU Emacs 24.1.1, reading mail with VM version 8.1.2.
Operating system: Fedora 17.

When clicking a link in a mail message, I have found that sometimes VM
uses the default web browser, and that sometimes it uses w3m. (I prefer
the default web browser.) Doing some experimentation, it appears that
if the message is plain text, then the default browser is used.
However, if it's an HTML message, then w3m is used.

Short of deleting the HTML piece of a multipart email message, is there
some way to force VM to always use the default browser in all cases?

Thank you.
