* paragraph break up to 70s

Hi

I ofter copy and paste text from web pages to a buffer which is in
text mode. in my .emacs I've got (setq fill-column 70) but the pasted
text does not follow this rule, what is the fix for this problem?

Apply fill-paragraph or type the text you otherwise would have  
copied&pasted.
