Sometimes when I call a function, such as buffer list or man page, with several windows open, emacs does not always replace the current window with the new buffer. Sometimes it does, but selecting a buffer from the list replaces the wrong window and leaves the buffer list open. Can someone please explain where I'm going wrong?
