Subject: beginning-of-visual-line doesn't respect read-only prompts in minibuffer
Date: Sun, 21 Jun 2009 22:50:27 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <21glws75qscc.fsf@gmail.com> (raw)
Hi!
When global-visual-line-mode is enabled, C-a is rebinded to
beginning-of-visual-line, which doesn't respect(or get respected)
read-only prompts in minibuffer like old beginning-of-line. For
example,
M-x C-e C-a a
You get a warn: "Text is read-only". This is very bad. I guess it is a
bug?
