Subject: Unable to build emacs 28 on debian bullseye
Date: Sun, 10 Oct 2021 14:08:38 +0530 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20211010083838.nukt4ot4prrzfrie@dalkati> (raw)
I am trying to build emacs 28 on debian bullseye, but make gives me following error:
----
Symbol's function definition is void: eieio-defclass-autoload
make[1]: *** [Makefile:849: bootstrap-emacs.pdmp] Error 255
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/user/emacs/src'
make: *** [Makefile:449: src] Error 2
----
Would appreciate any advice on how to figure out what is going wrong.
Vikas
