It's 2200. I started a full conversion at 1800; that should complete
at around 0400, giving me time to do a second one ab d still finish
tomorrow if required.
It probably won;t be. The only commit to land in bzr since 0600
was a trivial tweakl to a version number in lisp/gnus/mml2015.el.
I think we can savely let that one be reapplied afterwards.
The bze mirroring should be shut down sometime tomorrow, but I still
don't know whio will do that.

Neither do I.
Also, please make sure
[receive]
denynonfastforwards = true
is set in the .git/config file.

Done. A copy will continue to be available at <http://repo.or.cz/w/emacs>.

Will you let us know when the git repo is complete and we can start
using that instead?

<sarc>No, I'm not going to notify anyone. I'll just let it sit there
after working towards this for a *year*.</sarc>
I think it's less than two hours from being ready. The only remaining problem
is that we need someone with admin privileges on Savannah to set the
fast-forward-only property on the pushed version.

See? Good thing I asked.
Anyway, according to
http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/GitQuickStartForEmacsDevs
the command for all devels to issue the moment Eric gives his go-ahead (and
which will surely bring the server to its knees) is apparently
git clone <membername>@git.sv.gnu.org:/srv/git/emacs.git
Is that still correct? And for non-developers, it's the same as this,
but without the <membername>?
Googling around seems to give differing specs, but that might be because
of the old "mirror" git repos...

I'm guessing "no", since I just cloned it and it has lots of stuff like
Fix the MS-Windows build broken revision 114795.
which were supposed to be ported over to a universal syntax, I vaguely
recall.

Oh, well. I guess Eric went to bed. We'll find out tomorrow what the
status is, unless he doesn't want to announce it at all...
