I think it is true that there are no Canonical resources currently available to add git support to Launchpad. However, Launchpad is free software so perhaps some folks in the community would be willing and able to help out with that. If you're interested I can point you to the right forums to get involved. The above referenced Python 3 port of Bazaar is certainly interesting, and it would be a fun project to work on if I wasn't already overwhelmed with fun projects to work on. ;) Whether that port ends up being a fork or eventually gets folded back into bzr mainline is something that may come up some day if the work becomes viable. OTOH, Bazaar is *also* free software, so like all free software, anybody with an interest and time is welcome to fork it on their own initiative, and see where it leads. Cheers, -Barry
