See if that helps. > Thanks Michael. Was about to try your suggestion, but figured I should do it with the latest dev sources. However, there appears to be an issue in sysdep.c in the current HEAD which causes emacs to bail with an error when doing the build. Will wait until somebody fixes the problem so that I can build with latest snapshot. Tim
