Date: Tue, 13 May 2008 10:34:16 +0200 (CEST) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20080513083417.0569C454D9@ente.hawo.stw.uni-erlangen.de> (raw)
hello.
I got emacs to freeze using calc.
this bug seems easy to reproduce:
M-x calc
2
3
4
5
C-p
C-p
C-k
C-y
emacs stops reacting.
from #emacs @freenode
10:21 < jabot> if you want to try and reproduce:
10:21 < jabot> start calc
10:21 < jabot> enter some numbers
10:22 < jabot> kill one from the middle
10:22 < jabot> and then try to yank it
10:22 < twb> kill with C-k ?
10:22 < jabot> yes
10:22 < twb> Yes, I can duplicate this freeze with GNU Emacs 23.0.60.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.9) of 2008-05-11 on
elegiac, modified by Debian
10:23 < twb> tdoq gives an empty backtrace
10:23 < twb> During the freeze, emacs uses 100% of the CPU
feel free to ask me for more information.
