Similarly, starting emacs with =C2=AB=C2=A0LC_MESSAGES=3Dspanish ./emacs/src/emacs=C2=A0=C2=BB (all other = $LANG and $LC_* variables being set to fr_FR.UTF-8) gives me manpages in Spanish (well, for the handful of them which are present on my system).
