Subject: error from new Gnus
Date: Tue, 30 Oct 2007 14:06:15 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200710302106.l9UL6Fa1023166@oogie-boogie.ics.uci.edu> (raw)
I get this when trying to send mail with the new Gnus in emacs CVS trunk:
Sending...
Sending via mail...
smtpmail-via-smtp: `smtpmail-smtp-server' not defined
It worked fine before, mail was sent with the local sendmail, I don't
have any special settings.
Shouldn't this continue to work by default?
The mail gets sent if I set smtpmail-smtp-server to "localhost".
