I have the following hook in my .emacs in order to conceal passwords to be typed out clearly in a shell buffer: (add-hook 'comint-output-filter-functions 'comint-watch-for-password-prompt) Whenever I have worked with Whizzytex, this hook stops functioning and passwords can be seen clearly on screen until I restart Emacs. Can anybody reproduce this problem or even has a workaround?
