I think you're talking about a single instance of "old-style", namely at
~L193 in defcustom-c-stylevar:

      ,@(plist-put
         args ':type
         `(` (radio             <================================
              (const :tag "Use style settings"

OK, I'll look at it.

Incidentally, I'm working on a Unix system which has Emacs 19.27
installed as default.  This could be helpful!
