directory /gnu.org does not exist, as the shadowing indicates.

If it would be very difficult to make file-name-shadow-mode work 100%
correctly with FFAP and similar packages that redefine `C-x C-f' and
are not enabled by default, then the file-name-shadow-mode docstring
could just say that it does not work completely correctly with such
packages.

Without Stefan's patch, file-name-shadow-mode has problems even in
default Emacs and has trouble with Tramp.  It seems that Stefan's
version works correctly in default Emacs, even with Tramp, and only
has problems for packages that redefine `C-x C-f' in a non-trivial way.
