Yes, it just depends on whether you want it to be in Outline (major) mode or outline-minor-mode, and how it is you know that the file should automatically be in outline mode -- by major mode, directory, file name, or content. -- Kevin Rodgers ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

So all files called from this directory should open in outline-major-mode. How do I do that? ray ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

That is, the top level, instead of blue is pink (I haven't altered the defaults) and when I do `C-c C-q' on them, I get, Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "Must keep at least one level of headers") signal(error ("Must keep at least one level of headers")) error("Must keep at least one level of headers") hide-sublevels(0) call-interactively(hide-sublevels) ...it wasn't until today that in the midst of properly fontified top level headings there was a single improperly fontified one, so that there is also an irregularity to the error. I hope this is helpful. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 8+ messages in thread

The outline.el in the CVS trunk has had a few updates over this one.
