When?

   Most certainly the `i' binding in
   info is much too important to give it up for toggling a minor mode
   most people will never in their life need to use.

As I already said in my reply to Eli, I just miswrote.  I meant `v'
(for visible).  I never meant to rebind `i' (even though I
absent-mindedly wrote so).
