?? I wrote the docstring as this (in xfaces.c).

  DEFVAR_LISP ("face-font-rescale-alist", &Vface_font_rescale_alist,

Each element is a cons (FONT-NAME-PATTERN . RESCALE-RATIO), where

a font of 10 point, we actually use a font of 10 * RESCALE-RATIO point.  */);

But, hmmm, something is wrong.  C-x v
face-font-rescale-alist RET surely shows the above
docstring, but there are two empty lines after the first
line in *Help* in my case!?!
