Subject: AucTeX: TeX-master in verbatim environment
Date: Thu, 16 Jan 2003 15:40:25 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200301161440.h0GEeP201550@imf.au.dk> (raw)
This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.
Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
I'm using AucTeX 11.13.
If one has the following code in a LaTeX file, presses C-c C-n
(by accident) then Emacs actually think that by C-c C-c RET it should
run latex on a (non-existent) masterfile named master-name-tex.
\begin{verbatim}
%%% Local Variables:
%%% mode: latex
%%% TeX-master: "master-name"
\end{verbatim}
Isn't there any rule on where to place the lines
%%% Local Variables:
%%% mode: latex
%%% TeX-master: "master-name"
??
