ido with `ido-everywhere' active does not go too well with multi-occur,
because the former steals the RET that the later uses to exit from the
multi-file selection.
M-x ido-mode
M-x ido-everywhere
M-x multi-occur
and you must C-g to exit the multi-occur prompt.

I've fixed that, so that you can now end the prompting for buffers
with C-j; the prompt in multi-occur now indicates that when
ido-everywhere is active.
In addition, when ido is active, the buffers you have already selected
are now automagically removed from list of buffer to choose from.
