By me it starts, but the fonts are big and "ugly". Freshly build from
CVS this morning (~2 hours ago).

This is GNU Emacs 23.0.60.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.9)
 of 2008-05-14 on dragon
