Just from the viewpoint of a user: IMHO font-selection is much less
imprortant and used in a much lower frequency than going to a certain
line in a buffer - i dare say that most people will use quite always
the same font which fits their needs in editing text rsp. program-code.
But most people have to go to a certain line several times a day...
I vote for a good mnemonic keybinding for goto-line and also for
the mode-line accessibility of this feature.
