Thanks. (i searched google a bit, with the error or with =E2=80=9Cunison, emacs=E2= =80=9D, but didn't seem to help. unison runs fine in the real cygwin terminal. I can run rsync in Carbon emacs, but don't remember i ever did with unison.)
