I am using org-mode 6.05a under GNU Emacs 23.0.60.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2008-06-30 on LENNART-69DE564 (patched).
I can export to HTML just fine, but attempts to export to LaTex fail with
the following error:
Exporting to LaTeX...
org-export-preprocess-string: Wrong type argument: integer-or-marker-p,
nil
My .emacs file contains the following references to org-mode:
(message "Loading ORG Mode")
(setq org-todo-keywords '("TODO" "STARTED" "WAITING"
"DONE")) ;; (6)
(setq org-agenda-include-diary
t) ;; (7)
(setq org-agenda-include-all-todo t)
;; The following lines are always needed. Choose your own keys.
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.org\\'" . org-mode))
(global-set-key "\C-cl" 'org-store-link)
(global-set-key "\C-ca" 'org-agenda)
(global-set-key "\C-cb" 'org-iswitchb)
What am I doing incorrectly?
Thanks.

Hi Bill,
I *can* export to LaTeX, using 6.09, so why don't you start by
upgrading to the latest version. Get back to use if the error persists.
