First off, let me thank the author of proced -- it's a welcome
addition, especially given that my prior solution to this
specific task -- view-process-mode appears permanently broken in
emacs 23.

here are a couple of suggestins:

not all sort commands appear bound; in particular, sort by rss is
not bound, as is sort by vsz

Would it be possible to put field properties on the output 
so that I can more easily navigate by  using field-beginning and
field-end? Moving by whitespace works for all columns except the
cmd column, so this would be nice to have.
Also, how do I reverse sort order while using bindings like 'sc'?
