There is no possibility to add an extension to EMACS, probably to GNUS in order to use EMACS to read google groups for discussions?
http://groups.google.com/
Example: comp group discussions:
http://groups.google.com/groups/dir?sel=33584255

If you talk about *Usenet* groups, this is exactly what Gnus is about
in the first place...
,----[ (info "(gnus)Top") ]
| The Gnus Newsreader
| *******************
|
| You can read news (and mail) from within Emacs by using Gnus.
`----
If you meant these `foo-bar-baz(at)googlegroups.com' groups, you might
have success using a web group in Gnus (`G w google RET
group:foo-bar-baz RET'...).
,----[ (info "(gnus)Foreign Groups") ]
| `G w'
| Make an ephemeral group based on a web search
| (`gnus-group-make-web-group'). If you give a prefix to this
| command, make a solid group instead. You will be prompted for the
| search engine type and the search string. Valid search engine
| types include `google', `dejanews', and `gmane'. *Note Web
| Searches::.
`----
Bye, Reiner.

Comp.* are regular Usenet newsgroups which can be read in Gnus
(M-x gnus), and almost all public computing/software mailing lists
are in Gmane, which can be read in Gnus.

I got it. That is what I wanted to know. I tested it and it works nice.
