This might tempt redistributors (such as GNU/Linux distros) to add other repositories. I don't want to ask for trouble. Why would GNU/Linux distributors stop using their own well-established mechanisms for publishing Emacs add-ons? If I search for package names containing "emacs" in the installer for a SuSE distro, for example, I get a handful of such SuSE-distributed RPMs. So if this is asking for trouble, I don't see how it gets us into any *new* trouble. ;-} -- Bob Rogers http://rgrjr.dyndns.org/
