Subject: substitute with emacsclient -e experssion
Date: Thu, 12 Jun 2008 20:48:56 -0700 (PDT)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <17814578.post@talk.nabble.com> (raw)

Is it possible make substitute work like:
   emacsclient -e '(foo "`basename ${url}`")'?

or similar one to convert:
   `basename ${url}` --> URL
   emacsclient -e '(foo "`basename ${url}`")'? --> macsclient -e '(foo
"URL")'
