Hi
is it possible to add + and - symbols to the fringe when text was
outlined?
Preferably associated with mouse-events to fold and expand?
Seems an obvious idea, but I couldn't google anything...

This works with hideshow mode. If hideshow works in whatever mode
you're using, it does what you want.

Thanks .. unfortunately it's a little too buggy, for instance the
menu for the major-mode disappears. 8(
