All,
Whenever I edit a second TeX file in auctex mode, auctex does not let me see any errors generated against the second file. (Is this the *TeX Help* buffer?)
Deleting buffers doesn't help. Nor does reverting the buffer. If I sweep obarray looking for stale TeX-related variables, I don't find anything either. What am I doing wrong?
