There was a request recently about handling shell code in text.

In the responses were several modes for supporting multiple modes.
I've found the following:
    mmm mode
    mumamo mode (part of nxhtml)
    two-mode-mode

While I've written specialized multi-mode code before, I'd just as soon use what's out there now that I'm aware of it.

Would anyone like to comment on the above mode to help me choose?
I'd like to know about
1. ease/complexity of use/configuration
2. feature richness (especially if there are surprisingly useful features you might not think of at first).

Thanks.
