Please run Emacs under GDB, and when it crashes, type at GDB prompt
thread apply all bt
and post here what that produces.

From the shell prompt, type "gdb /path/to/emacs/emacs", then when GDB
shows its prompt "(gdb)" type "run" and hit RET.

They are both the same executable, probably hard-linked to the same
data on disk. Check out what "ls -l" says about the number of links.
