Doesn’t it make more sense to have the feature freeze in the beginning of January? Many people will take some time off work around Christmas and will probably have a bit of extra time to work on things they want to include in Emacs 24.4. I was planning to integrate ruby-tools in ruby-mode, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to do it by the end of the week.
