Problem detected on both 22.1.50 and 23.0.60 x86_64 builds built with
gcc-4.3.0.

Personally the error happened to me 1/4 to 1/3 of the time when starting
up emacs. After applying the patch attached to the bug report the
problem hasn't happened again.
