Is there a way to force refontification of the current buffer after I
added new keywords manually with font-lock-add-keywords? I tried M-x
font-lock-fontify-buffer, but it does not seem very useful, because it
simply triggers the default font-lock support mode (jit-lock-mode), so
the new keywords are not highlighted instantly, only after a while.

Is there an other way?

Emacs 22.
