I am using emacs23 + latest ecb and jde.
It works perfect for most cases in terms of analyzing class and thus
displaying fields and methods. But in a Java class like this:

class ObjectList <Object>
{
}

jde fails to parse the class. Any hints? Or JDE simply doesn't support
generic?

No idea, but it is probably better to ask on the JDE mailing list
