Subject: getting an 'error: undefined style' on style customization
Date: 29 May 2006 09:06:50 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1148918810.242346.280410@j33g2000cwa.googlegroups.com> (raw)
HI all,
I can safely M-x c-set-style and choose my style (linux-c-mode) and
emacs will load properly and work just fine. However, when i try to M-x
linux-c-mode after launching emacs before editing a file (or even
selecting it), it gives me the 'error: undefined style' error message.
How can i fix that? My linux-c-mode is as follows.
(defun linux-c-mode()
"C mode with adjusted defaults for use with the Linux Kernel."
(interactive)
(c-mode)
(c-set-style "gnu")
(setq tab-width 8)
(setq indent-tabs-mode nil)
(setq c-basic-offset 8)
(add-hook 'c-mode-hook 'linux-c-mode))
Any help is appreciated.
Nick
