does edict.el work under windows

Hello

I am using edict.el for some months and its pretty cool under linux.
Yesterday I talked about this with a friend. He is using Windows XP.
I remember a windows port of emacs at least the 21.3 version.
But I dont know if edict.el works there, too.

Any experience?

 - insert debian install cd.
 - turn on computer.

What version of edict.el do you have, and where did you get it?

I found some (seemingly old) version on the Web, and didn't see in it
anything that won't work on Windows.

So I'd suggest to give it a try.
