We have started using Samba between our NT boxes and our HP-UX 11 machines.
One thing we have noticed is that if we open a HP-UX based file in emacs on
NT then by looking at the Samba status on the machine where the file
resides, we can see that the file seems to remain open for a long time after
we close emacs.
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour ?
