Hello !
I have tried to introduce friends to Emacs, and I have noticed that the
Tutorial is not available in French.
Does a French translation exist or may I continue to translate it myself ?

There's a French translation in the Emacs CVS.

There's a French tutorial in the released version 21.3 of Emacs as
well, so one doesn't need to go to CVS.
