Subject: bug#32705: 26; `dired-do-create-files': Let user confirm recursive copy for all dirs at once
Date: Tue, 11 Sep 2018 09:57:34 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <0e540752-da44-4fd9-9b85-89f090461b87@default> (raw)
Enhancement request.
1. Mark several files and subdirs in a Dired directory.
2. Use `C' to copy them to some other directory.
For each marked subdir you are prompted, asking whether to do a
recursive copy. Please consider providing a response to the prompt that
indicates that you want to apply the same response to all other marked
subdirs, i.e., those for which you would otherwise get a subsequent
prompt. The idea is to be able to answer once instead of multiple times.
