Hi,

the documentation of eshell is unfortunately "work in progress". I am
looking forward to know more about what it can do.

One problem I would like to solve now is how to make the PATH variable
used by eshell include what I have in exec-path.

Can that be done?

tia,

You're joking! Someone like me, who does not watch even one minute of
sportive events on TV, who does not remember who became world
champion (in any discipline) would easily believe that besides
vanilla rugby for users like me there is also a rugby on speed for
youngsters, or those who want to be ...

Try

(setenv "PATH" (mapconcat (lambda (dir) (or dir ".")) exec-path ":"))

Thanks, it was the solution except that windows needs ; as directory
separator.

Which is why such code should use path-separator, which is portable.
