I can also copy things in Firefox and then paste it into Emacs as the x11 selection so: 1 - there is a problem between emacs and java apps, when they are both on the virtual machine, as I posted in another thread (http:// groups.google.com/group/gnu.emacs.help/browse_thread/thread/ 90900baeba96b2a6#) 2 - Emacs is the only thing having issues copy/pasting from guest virtual machine to host.
