I'm running Windows XP SP3 32bit. I use gcc 4.6.2 from mingw32. So this = is not peculiar to 64 bit machine/compiler. http://paste.lisp.org/display/129920 I was quite happy until it happened and I had been using Emacs = successfully for quite a while.
