Subject: 23.0.60; (icomplete-with-completion-tables t) test in icomplete-simple-completing-p
Date: Fri, 30 May 2008 16:33:34 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <000301c8c2ad$94081eb0$0200a8c0@us.oracle.com> (raw)
This test was added recently to icomplete-simple-completing-p:
(or ...
(eq icomplete-with-completion-tables t) ; <== Why is this there?
...)
However, the only occurrences of the internal variable
icomplete-with-completion-tables in icomplete.el neither set it to t
nor document what such a setting would mean. And it does not appear in
any other Lisp file.
Perhaps the doc string needs to mention t. Or perhaps the new test
should be removed. For now, at least, this code looks strange.
In GNU Emacs 23.0.60.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2008-05-29 on LENNART-69DE564
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.4) --no-opt --cflags -Ic:/g/include
-fno-crossjumping'
