Hi
why do I get different Emacs binaries in the emacs/src directory
(after maintainer-clean and bootstrapping)? What is the reason that
there are different emacs-22.0.50 and emacs-22.0.50.1 binaries and
identical emacs and emacs-22.0.50.1 ones (according to cmp)? Why is
emacs not just a link to emacs-22.0.50.1?
After recompiling the last number seem to count up. This is
understandable but why different versions by compiling from scratch?

Actually, it's a hard link.
