What do you have to do to get X11 forwarding working for emacs on a Sun
Solaris 8 box?
Other then installing the package?

Are you connecting with ssh? If so, make sure you use the -X switch
to force X forwarding.

First, make sure a simple application like 'xterm' works via your
connection route (presumably ssh?). If 'xterm' works but emacs
doesn't, then are your positive your emacs was compiled with support
for X?
