The first file I opened always popup two frames. One with my file in it and the other is just the *scratch* buffer frame. Is there a way to avoid the *scratch buffer frame from popping up? Thanks! My next question is what is the option at the "gnuclient" to open a file and move the cursor to the end of the buffer? Many thanks in advance. --- tcp
