Hi,
I'm using Emacs 20.7.1 on win98 and I'm having some trouble with
font-lock not coming on in scheme-mode unless I explicitly type M-x
scheme-mode.
A related problem -- the indentation functions in my .emacs aren't being
recognized, until M-x scheme-mode.
The mode-line clearly announces that the buffer is in scheme-mode (and I
can send processes to scheme, etc). Key bindings and such defined in
.emacs ARE recognized, however.
This *used to* work and I haven't fidgeted with .emacs for a LONG time.
The relevant forms are:
(require 'font-lock)
(font-lock-add-keywords
'scheme-mode
'(("\\(\\sw\\sw*:[^a-z0-9-A-Z\+]\\)" . font-lock-type-face) ;; dsssl
keywords
("with-access" . font-lock-type-face)
(... etc))
(add-hook 'scheme-mode-hook 'turn-on-font-lock)
so I'm now clueless -- any suggestions as to what may be going wrong?
thanks for all help,
-- eliot
