@Luis:

Please show us the output of "locale" in an xterm before starting
Emacs.  Call emacs with "emacs -q -no-site-file" and show us the
output of `M-x describe-coding-system RET' in this Emacs session.

I don't really need Emacs-20 compatibility anymore.  I was just to
lazy to change it as long as it works.  If I change it, I can as well
use [:alpha:].

I already recognized that something is wrong: Not posting with
charset=utf-8, posting via Google instead of Unicode-Emacs/Gnus ...
