Hi All.

When I use GNU emacs on a SUN-OS console. The layout is only black and 
white. Even I use a ANSI color terminal.

Why? How can I use a color layout.

I assume you use Emacs 21.x; previous versions didn't support colors
on text terminals.

Some of the reasons why Emacs 21 might not use colors are listed in
etc/PROBLEMS.  Search for "Colors are not available on a tty" in that
file, and read there.
